Afro Caribe Fest!

As part of the Griffin Terrace series, the Winchester Community Music School, Arts Winchester, and the Griffin Museum present a celebration of Afro Caribbean culture, including music, storytelling, art, food, and historical presentations.

The event includes exciting performances by the "Dis N Dat Band", a five-piece band led by Sista Dee, an international entertainer and steel pan virtuoso who was born in Trinidad and Tobago, and Rangotan, a four-time Grammy-nominated drummer hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, as well as African drumming and storytelling by Ya Ya Inaru Ni. Throughout the afternoon, there will be art making demonstrations and opportunities and presentations on Caribbean history and culture.

4:15-5:00 pm: Dis-N-Dat Band performance
