Join artist and educator Anne Eder for a captivating two-day spring workshop at the Griffin Museum, where art and nature converge. You'll learn to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind photographic images using contemporary cameraless techniques: lumen prints, and phytograms.

Harness the natural light sensitivity of plants to make striking, eco-friendly photographs -- no darkroom or toxic chemicals required. These poetic processes celebrate the organic beauty of impermanence, experimentation, and nature's hidden colors.

You'll explore:

-- Lumen Prints - surreal, color-shifting images

In this workshop, we will go beyond the basics of the Adobe Lightroom Classic workflow. We will begin with a brief review of the Library and Develop Modules, along with key settings that impact performance and organization. From there, we will dive into problem-solving common challenges such as replacing or adding hard drives, moving files without losing links, and maximizing the use of Collections. We will also explore new tools for sorting and organizing, creating export presets, and more within the Library Module.

And what better way to celebrate you than being with other members and seeing the work of our Winter Solstice exhibition

The Griffin Museum is pleased to host a reception for Grace, an exhibition by Scott Offen, presented in our satellite gallery, The Griffin @ WinCam. Join us in person on February 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM to celebrate the work.

In Grace, Offen collaborates with his partner to explore themes of aging, representation, and autonomy. The photographs move between intimate domestic interiors and mythic outdoor landscapes, offering a nuanced and deeply personal visual dialogue.

Begin at 9 AM with a lively Coffee & Conversation hosted by Executive Director Crista  Dix. Join us for a celebration of Frank Siteman's exhibition at the Jenks center as part of our summer public art project, Vision(ary). Frank Siteman is a resident and chronicler of life in Winchester. The Griffin Museum and Winchester Cultural District are excited to welcome the School of Honk to Winchester! Join us on the Griffin Terrace for a warm up session and march over to the Winchester Common for an afternoon of a blast of brass! Bring your brass instrument to the party and play with the band as music fills downtown Winchester.

Be at the Griffin Museum Sunday August 24th starting at 2.30pm. Meet other Honkers, warm up and play on our Griffin Rotary Terrace until 4pm then march down Shore Road to Winchester Common for a performance on the Green.
