Making the transition from screen to print can be challenging. Creating a successful print requires more than knowing which buttons to push, it requires understanding how technical choices shape the final image. After an introduction to basic color management and printer settings, students will explore how various controls affect both the outcome and aesthetic of the print.

Documentary storytelling draws on the compositional awareness of street photography, the intimacy of family and personal work, and the depth that emerges through sustained observation. Whether participants are working with strangers, within their own communities, or on subjects of personal concern, this class encourages thoughtful approaches to photographing people and places

Join Avery Whitlock, an illustrator and regular cover artist for Bird Observer, as we learn the basics of drawing birds. Only a pencil and paper are needed. Extra supplies will be available for anyone that needs them. All experience levels welcome.
