Acera School is an independent K–9 nonprofit school in Winchester, Massachusetts, serving approximately 120 students and their families from more than 25 communities throughout Massachusetts. Founded in 2010, Acera provides an inquiry-driven, project-based education that nurtures creativity, intellectual curiosity, and a love of learning. Students engage in advanced academics, ability-based math, engineering and maker projects, visual and performing arts, outdoor education, and passion-driven projects.

Ambrose is proud to have a very active and inclusive Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) dedicated to the enrichment of our students’ educational experience. Through generous Direct Appeal donations, we are able to support a number of programs and field trips throughout the school year. The Chamber is a non-profit organization with a volunteer board of directors and several hundred members who pay annual dues for membership. Our members include businesses, community members, entrepreneurs, nonprofit groups, home-based companies and individuals. 

A private, non-profit, Montessori school (the oldest Montessori primary school in New England), serving children ages two years five months to six years of age. We provide a carefully crafted, beautiful environment where children gain independence, confidence, and essential skills for life-long creative thinking and learning.

Chinese American Network of Winchester (CAN-Win) is a non-profit and non-partisan community organization for Chinese Americans in the Town of Winchester, MA. Founded in 2016, CAN-Win aims to preserve and promote Chinese culture and heritage, enhance neighborhood integration, strengthen engagement in community affairs, and advocate common interests in important social, cultural, and political issues. CAN-Win is led by its Executive Board.

Connect & Commit promotes community responsibility and civic engagement by expanding service-learning and community service opportunities for students in public schools in Winchester, Massachusetts. The primary focus is Winchester High School. Over 2,000 students have participated in projects on a wide range of topics.

Council of Social Concern was founded in 1969 by a group of concerned citizens who wanted to promote a sense of “neighborliness” in the community and address the absence of quality, affordable childcare and housing issues. Today, the Council of Social Concern assists approximately 1,900 individuals per year, with the support of approximately 100 volunteers. We provide a range of services to address community needs.

With supporters across the United States, Cradles to Crayons works to fight Children’s Clothing Insecurity directly in Chicagoland, Massachusetts, Greater Philadelphia, NYC, and the San Francisco Bay Area, and focuses on raising awareness about this urgent crisis nationally.

Crawford Memorial United Methodist Church of Winchester, MA is a Christ-centered and inclusive community. We open wide our doors to all people who long to be a part of a vital congregation, where children and adults grow closer to God and to one another; God is worshipped in prayer, praise and action; the word of God is studied and lived; people are refreshed in spirit; the Gospel is proclaimed and disciples of Christ are made.

We are a proud, family owned school for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care. We are committed to supporting the needs of all families with inclusion our biggest priority.  We love and value the diversity within our community and school. Our play-based curriculum puts the needs of children first and foremost. Every child has a unique learning pathway. We acknowledge each pathway and work to develop each child with a curriculum that addresses the whole child.
